She ate and drank and was so glad to get out.  She gave lots of kisses.  She is full of energy.  I think the naps were meant for me not her.  She acts like nothing bothers her and she acts like this has always been home.   Took her to the vet this morning.  All is well.   I have never gotten a dog this way before so I really had some concerns and worries.  I was concerned about the long flight,  that she would get cold- you took care of that with a blanket and coat and a little pink bow in her hair was delightful.  She still had a little food in her tray.  This all went smoother than I was afraid it would and very well.  Thank you for chipping her and Thank you so much for everything!!   I just want to say that you really have a wonderful and special talent with the way you take pictures and present the puppies on your web.  You really care.   What a joy she is in my life already.  We both did good for our first night.   Thank you........   Sincerely,   Sharon     Thank you,! We are so Excited about this precious baby!   Mei ling is the joy of our lives. She is potty trained but I still have to watch her closely on carpet. She can sit and stay on command, and she puts her sweet face against my neck when I say, "Give me some love." I rolled three beach towels into sausages and secured them with rubber bands. I place three of them on the floor about a foot apart. Mei Ling sits and waits for my command, then she jumps over them. She's so smart.   Mei Ling's favorite game is to play with Lamb Chop. (You are not old enough to be familiar with Lamb Chop, but your mom probably remembers Sherri Lewis and her hand puppet, Lamb Chop.) When I slip my hand into the puppet, Mei Ling turns in circles, jumps, and barks for joy. I've enclosed a photo of our sweet baby sleeping with Lamb Chop. He didn’t seem stressed by the journey and settled in quickly. He cried for what was left of Friday night, but went to bed without a peep on Saturday and Sunday.
